Club Penguin Times Issue #248 :)

Club Penguin has released its 248th Issue today! :) Looks like a lot of NEW things are happening this month...take a look...

Music Jam is still going strong! And with a Music Catalog update set for July 15, the island might even get noisier!

Penguins everywhere have been expressing themselves with the power of music and style. The three new instruments being added definitely look like they'll be turning up that power even more.

"We've finally perfected double-necked guitar technology" said one jammer. "It's seriously epic. Like double-epic."

Everyone's encouraged to keep the sound strong. So dance up a storm and rock out on all the stages across the island.

"I've been trying to hit every stage in under five minutes." said one musician. "Still haven't done it yet. It's going to take a music-master to get it done!"

Music Jam wraps up on July 18. Make it count!

Starting July 15, this month's Better Igloos will feature furniture items that can help you make your igloo into a place to make massively maximum muisc.

Decorating experts were eager to share all they know.

"There are plenty of rock solid ways to get your igloos set up for jamming!"

"I like to get a theme happening--match the mood."

"For example, I got friends who love to dance, so I have lots of dance areas. But I like to have LOTS of different styles ready. If my friends want to practice loud, I can pull out a bunch of speakers!"

One decorater was more practical. He told us, "Set up snack tables like in Casa Fiesta. Your friends can't focus on tunes if they're hungry."

And all of them agreed that saving up coins so you can get extra items was key.

"If more friends show up, you want to be prepared."

...Here's the Town Center! Try busking to entertain a smaller audience. You may find some cool shows in the Coffee Shop. And the Night Club. You know what to do there! The Gift Shop's the place to dress up your band... ...Don't forget to click the sign on the lower right hand corner to have FUN at the Casa Fiesta! :) It is at the Ski Village...

...Here's the Coffee Shop...whoa, it's fancy in here right now! And there's no storage of things to do. Drop off your coat...chat with music stars, or enjoy the show! Guidance: Click on the red Button for cool Confetti Effects :) Click on all the lamps for them too light up and of course click on the Coffee Board sign for something different on the menu :) Click on the bell on the desk near the coat room...

...Feeling the need to groove? You're in the right place! Here's the Night Club. Have a Dance Contest with your friends or hit the stage and mix your own tunes. The spotlight's on you! Guidance: This is the place where DJ Cadence sometimes goes to. So make sure when finding her, you include the Night Club as one of the places to check :)...

...The Lounge is where the action happens. Make your own Music Videos...control the FX and play some classic arcade games or try directing bands from the sound booth! Guidance: Just like the Coffee shop, there are many things we can click in here :) Make sure to check out the special effects by clicking buttons on the machine next to the stage :) Change the background and add some light effects :) Sometimes DJ Cadence comes here too...

...Welcome to the Plaza. Put together a band and jam! Grab your favorite snack at the Pizza Parlor. Puffles love to dance, so visit the Pet Shop and did you see the new pin in the Stage?...

...This is the rockin' Pizza Parlor and there's more than Pizza cooking here. Jump on Stage and lead a show...Make your buddies a tasty Pizza or help serve the stars!...

...And we're at the Cave. Feeling Musical? Jump around to make some tunes! Flick the switch to play with friends! This room is so LOVELY! I love playing "Mary had a little lamb" LOL!

...This is the Mine. Creat tunes with musical icicles or light up the scoreboard at the ice blocks. Even puffles are in treble! I LOVE playing the Memory game, it's so much FUN. I haven't beaten my hight score yet, but SOON I will :)...

...This is the Ski Village! Put together a band and play some tunes, grab some food and check out some New Music Merchandise! Sadly these aren't NEW, these merchandises are the same as last year's, but at least the NEW members will have more FUN with them :)...

...Love to jam and dance with your buddies? The Casa Fiesta's a GIANT party. Line up and do the Conga! Get lots of friends to turn the same color. Only one rule...Have FUN! :) Guidance: It depends on the amount of penguins that are in this room for the music, make sure you have a lot in this room :) Also when you throw a snowball, you end up throwing CONFETTI! :)...

...The Beach, home of the jammin' Lighthouse. You can interview celebs, rock the stage, record the action or dance up the storm! I LOVE this room :) The PINK is what makes it special for me :) It's so PRETTY! :)...

...This is the Lighthouse, your chance to light up the stage. Grab your buddies, bust out the instruments and JAM! Get behind the booth and help make an epic show. :) Guidance: Play your instruments and you will be hear it your OWN instruments literally! :)...

I met Cadence on Winterland :)

Today I met Cadence on Winterland, Dance Club :) The room was pretty full and obviously from this picture you can't see her lol! So I went to the Users in Room list and there her name was :)

If you guys ever find Cadence, and the room is full, but you can't see her, just go to the Users in Room, it helps a lot :) Just a little advice :) So this is when I checked the Users in Room list for Cadence... You have found a Cadence Background. Would you like to pick it up? YES please :)
This is how the Background looks on my Player Card :) I am so glad that I met her, I was looking EVERYWHERE for her! Then I finally found her, I hope you guys who haven't found her yet, find her :)
Sorry I didn't get that many pictures, I came when she was about to leave so I couldn't get her player card picture...It's really hard to take a picture of all these things in 1 minute LOL :) Well best of luck to everyone who is trying to find her :)

Cadence NEW Background :)

I was waddling around Club Penguin, until I saw this Penguin claiming that he has the NEW Cadence Background, at first I couldn't believe that they were going to have a NEW Background. So I clicked on his Penguin and it was TRUE! Take a look... I think this looks really COOL! I haven't met Cadence yet, but when I do, I will sure get this background. It looks really nice. :)

Cadence, also known as "DJ K-Dance", is a popular purple-haired musician, DJ and dancer. Always down for a dance off, you'll usually find her at the Night Club mixing music for the Dance Contest game.

She made a big splash when she threw the Dance-a-thon Party for members in January of 2009, and showed up to 'chill' in person.

Can I meet Cadence?
Cadence spends most of her time putting on Dance Contests at the Night Club, but during certain events she'll step down from the DJ booth to meet and mingle with others. If she's around, you definitely can't miss her!
