Check out Mickey1216's picture on the wall! The kids in Haiti were also a huge help in designing and painting the mural. The final picture has definitely been a world-wide effort!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been blogging. I have been so busy with homework and I already have tests next week. I really doubt anyone will read this but I met Rockhopper today! I met him on the server Polar Bear on his ship! I got the stamp. I was so happy because I heard he has a new background and... ...I got it! You have found a Rockhopper Background. Would you like to pick it up? OF COURSE! :)

YAY! Now I have the Rockhopper Stamp! I can't wait to meet the rest. :)

Hey everyone, I know I haven't been posting at all. I am really sorry, but I don't think I am going to post anymore. :( I've been so busy and school has started today for me. I already got homework on the first day and it takes me over 1 hour, probably over 2 hours. I want to keep posting, but with school work and everything, I just don't have time. I am really sorry. It is possible that I will post on weekends. But I won't update fast if something new happens in CP during the weekdays. I am really sorry guys... Well anyway, today was my first day of school. I went to a new school and it's HUGE! I kept getting lost and even got late to one of my classes! You know you get new lockers, new classes and ALL my teachers are NEW! But I made it through the first day and now I am use to it a little. :] Also my teachers are SUPER nice and most of them are really fun and funny. :] I hope everyone who has already had school or is just starting had or has a great first day too. :] Thanks to everyone who has been reading my blog, it is possible for me to update if I'm not busy and maybe on weekends. :] Waddle on!

Hello Penguins!

As many of you know, we're always trying to help kids and families all over the world. And thanks to your support and generosity, a new school has been built in Haiti.

It just needs one more thing - a painted mural for the playground... And we want YOU to design it!

Show us what having fun means to you by drawing and sending us a picture of your penguin playing with your buddies! We'll then select the Top 4 pictures, and everyone will vote for their favorite here on the What's New Blog!

If your artwork is chosen, it will be painted by one of our artists as a large wall mural. We hope this mural will help share the gift of fun with all the kids who play there.

We'll be putting up a submission page next week. Here's the Dos and Don'ts list for your picture, so you can get started:

Do:

1. Draw between two and four penguins playing together.
2. Draw the picture taking place outdoors.
3. Draw penguins with only one or two simple items. Like hats and scarves!
4. Try to use five colors or less.
5. Use any art style you like! Pencils, pens and paints are great!

Don't:

1. Include any personal information (like an address).
2. Use any words.
3. Use anyone else's pictures.
4. Draw large or complicated items. (No Squidzoids!)

So what do you think? Let us know, and make sure to check back next week for more info.

How to Climb the Mountain Cheats and Free Items :)

Are you wondering how to climb the Mountain successfully? Also finding your free items on the way? Well I am here to help you :) First thing to know is that there are TWO places where you see a sign of the Mountain you are going to climb :)

...Town and...

...Plaza...
...This is the sign you are suppose to get :) The Expedition needs you! Join the Climb at the Supply Camp :)

...We are now at the Ski Village, this is where you start off :)

...Here we are at the Supply Camp, it looks like we can sit near the fire and get warm, grab some useful supplies, and go to the first aid station incase of injury :)

...Notice the lower right hand corner of your screen, you see this. Click on this and you will have

...all these supplies you can buy for the Mountain Expedition :) Make sure to get these before you start climbing :)

...Oh and don't forget to get your free item

You have found a Chilly Trek Hat. Would you like to pick it up? Yes! :)

...Now if you keep going, you will end up here. Click on the icicles until there are none left to continue :)

...Once you have solved it, you will get a Stamp (Party Puzzle) :)

...You will end up here, great place to get warm too or maybe even rest if you are tired :) I am going to keep going and make sure I get to the top!

...Once you end up here, there are two rooms which you can go to. One, the secret room and the other to the top of the mountain :) Pink arrow: Secret room, Red arrow: Top of Mountain :) If you choose to go to the top first, you must hover over the snow on top of the axe so the snow will fall. Then click on the plant until the plant has removed the snow from the axe, then click on the axe until it has cut down the bark. Then throw snowballs at the icicles and the bark will land so you can walk on top of it to go to the top of the Mountain :)

...I chose to take the Secret Room first, I think this is AMAZING! I love the boat that make it looks like we are home :) Now lets go back and get to the top of the Mountain :)

Club Penguin Times Issue #252 :)

Club Penguin has released it's 252nd Issue today :) Lets take a long at all these interesting events... Penguins are preparing for the climb of their lives! Starting August 13, the Mountain Expedition begins, which will test even the greatest climbing experts on the island.

"This isn't the Tallest Mountain we're climbing." said one hiker. "This one looks even more challenging and dangerous. I like to call Toughest Mountain for fun."

Before anyone can tame this new territory, they'll need to prepare. Proper equipment, a team of friends and a dash of bravery is recommended.

You'll also be able to earn stamps during this event," the hiker added. "You're going to face some tough challenges-and you'll get to record them in your Stamp Book.

Members can climb the Mountain until August 18. The expedition will need lots of help, so everyone is invited to lend a flipper at the Supply Camp.

Igloos are an important part of life on Club Penguin. Those new to the island may not know about some of the cool designs available. We interviewed an Igloo Expert for information.

"There's LOTS of interesting designs," the expert told us. And decorators have discovered lots of clever ways to use them."

"For example, the Restraunt igloo is great for opening your own cafe or pizza parlor. And the Pumpkin igloo is a great choice at Halloween for a haunted house."

"For rare igloo designs, you'll have to look further," the expert added. "Some designs, like the Dojo Igloo, can't be found in a normal catalog..."

Click on the igloo icon on your map to check out what other penguins are using the igloo for. Or, if you're a member, click on the measuring tape icon in your own igloo and start decorating.

Club Penguin has released it's 251th Issue of Club Penguin Times... There are many interesting things happening this month :) Lets take a look... Two brave jetpackers reported to the Club Penguin Times with some observations from one of their latest adventures.

"We were flying around up there and we saw something out of the ordinary." one sky guy told us mysteriously.

"That's right." the other confirmed. "Our jetpacks don't let us get high enough to see what it was. Before there's something up there, that's for sure..."

"We'll need to climb to the top of these mountains and get to the bottom of all the mysterious rumors about what's up there!"

Preparations for a Mountain Expedition have begun. Head to the Ski Village on August 13 to take on the challenge of the climb!

This sounds VERY interesting :) I can't wait, I don't think Club Penguin has ever had this kind of Party before :) BUT if they had, comment and let me know :) My penguin is not a very old penguin LOL :)

I hope in the Mountain Expedition, there will be Mountains that we can actually CLIMB! That would be so cool! :)

Getting Double Coins for Non Stamp Games :)

Did anyone notice that you get Double Coins in Non Stamp games? Well it's true! :) Like for example Cart Surfer, I got the score 1327 and you know normally I would get around 100 coins, BUT I got 266 coins instead :) I thought it may be a Bug, but I guess not... ...also after you earned ALL stamps for a game, you can get Double Coins from that game too :) Thanks to Saraapril for this, I didn't know it was for ALL Non Stamps Game, I thought it was for Cart Surfer only :)

Puffle Rescue Stamps BUG!

I went on Club Penguin recently and I found out that the Puffle Rescue Stamps are GONE! Could this be a BUG? First Club Penguin brought it, BUT no one could see it because it was still Processing...but now it's GONE! Also, the Stamps are back to a total of 107 instead of 135... I hope Club Penguin fixes this soon because I was really looking forward to earning Puffle Rescue Stamps :)

Thanks to my brother, Pagger2 :), he told me that there was an update for Stamps :) We now have 135 stamps instead of 107 :) Lets see what they are for... ...Go to your Stamp book and yes you will see 135 stamps now :) I have 71 out of 135 :)...

...The NEW Stamps are from Puffle Rescue! :) They have added this Game, I am so glad! Now I can get even more Stamps because I LOVE playing this Game :) Lets see what stamps there are...

...OOPS, Club Penguin is still updating LOL :) I hope they are done soon, I really want to show everyone :) I wonder what there are, wow 28 stamps for Puffle Rescue?! I can't wait! :)

How to earn the Get Fluffy AND Get the Worm Stamps in Aqua Grabber :)

To earn these TWO Stamps, you must go to the Ice Berg and play Aqua Grabber :)... We are going to get these TWO Stamps today :) It would have been three if I could catch the Mullet LOL :) But I couldn't so I will be showing you these, and you can apply it to the mullet :)...

...First select Soda Sea Mode NOT Claim Waters...then when you get there, collect ALL the Barrels. They must be collected at a certain ORDER :)...

...Return the barrels to the net and do the same with the REST :) Once you have down that...

...You can enter here and bump the top so a worm will fall out :) Grab the worm with your claw and this will be bait for Fluffy the yellow fish :) (If you want to catch the Mullet, then make sure after catching Fluffy, you head to the Mullet and use the same strategy to catch it :)...

...Catch Fluffy and return Fluffy to your net :) Tip: When catching Fluffy, make sure you don't press space bar because that is NOT how you catch fluffy, if you press Space Bar, then the worm will fall down...instead wait for the fish to be NEAR your bait and it will itself be on the Claw :)...

Today I have earned the High Jump Stamp in Club Penguin :) It was a little hard but I FINALLY did it because I kept trying and trying :)

High Jump: Jump the height of 20 penguins :) ...Lol I was so happy that I ALMOST forgot to take a pic of this for you guys so I took while I was falling LOL :) Tip: When trying to do the High Jump, make sure you get away from the wave and be as FAST as possible, then jump and you will see yourself jumping really HIGH :) It worked for me :)...

...YAY I earned the Stamp and now it has been added to my Stamp Book :) I have 54 stamps now :)...

...It has officially been added to the Stamp book :)...

Believe it or not, but this took me a VERY long time! I tried to impress the THREE judges as much as I can :) It was hard for me to earn this stamp BUT I finally did it :)... ...YAY first place :) BUT before you can get a decision from the judges what place you are in, you must play at least three times and impress them :)...

...YES I got my stamp FINALLY LOL :) I have 17 stamps in Catchin' Waves now :)...

Saraapril announced that she was having a party on July 31, 10 am :) I went there an hour earlier LOL because I was so excited that I couldn't wait :) We were all dancing until she arrives :)

...We were all hiding behind a rock, but when she arrived, we all yelled SURPRISE! We sure gave her a good surprise :)... ...My igloo was the SECOND one Saraapril picked :D I earned BOTH of my stamps, one with at least 10 penguins AND one for 30 :) THANK YOU Saraapril! You really helped me :)...

Having trouble getting the Fuel Wings Stamp? Don't worry I am HAPPY to HELP you :)

Fuel Wings: Collect a fuel can while falling :)
First head to the Lighthouse Beacon and Play Jet Pack Adventure :)... ...This is Level 1 for me :), BUT it doesn't matter what level you are in, as long as there are fuel cans LOL :) So to collect the Fuel Can while falling, you must have your Jet Pack Fuel into Low, then when you have that, fly above a Fuel Can and wait till the Fuel gets empty, once that is done you will FALL to the Fuel and...

...earn a Stamp :) Stamp Earned! Fuel Wings :) IMPORTANT: Make sure that you haven't used your FIRST Fuel already or just lost it :) ALSO don't think that falling means letting go your arrow and you 'fall' to the Fuel, it WON'T WORK! You have to wait till your FUEL gets EMPTY THEN it will ITSELF fall :)

...When earning this stamp, it may not be a good idea using a Fuel that is way up high because you will have to FALL to the Fuel to earn a Stamp :)

When earning Stamps, you will have to know what you have to do to get that Stamp, so go to your Stamp book to either Activities, Events or Games :) ...Hover over a Stamp and see what you have to do :) Underground: Find the secret entrance to the underground :)

...Once you did that, you will get a message saying "Stamp Earned! Underground" :)

...Also when you open your Stamp book, they will give you a message about your Recently Earned Stamps :)

...Once you have earned that stamp, that Stamp will be put into your Stamp Book :)

First Step into Customizing your Stamp Book is knowing where your Stamp Book is :) Go to your Player Card and click the "Your Stamps" Icon :) ...This is how your Stamp Book looks at the Start, BUT don't worry it won't look Plain anymore :) Click on the PENCIL on the lower right hand corner :)

...Once you have done that, you will see 5 features :) All Stamps, Color, Highlight, Pattern and Icon :) You can start with any :) I chose PINK, Stars for the Pattern and Purple highlight :) I know I will keep changing the way my Stamp Book looks when I keep earning more stamps :)

You can drag Stamps OR Pins :) Pins are included too, BUT only the ones you have in your Inventory :) Drag the Stamp you want to your Stamp Book :) IF you don't like how the Stamp looks on your Stamp Book, you can Drag your stamp to the Selection to Remove it from the Cover :)

...You can also rotate your Stamps AND Pins :) Click on the Stamp or Pin you want and click the right or left arrows :) I put mine Upside Down to show you guys LOL :) You can cover up to 6 Stamps or Pins on your Stamp Book :)

...YAY I am done :) This is how mine looks so far :) Don't forget to SAVE your Stamp Book. Click Save on the lower right hand corner :) If you don't do that, then all your efforts of decorating your Stamp Book will go to waste! We wouldn't want that :)

Today Club Penguin has released the 249th issue of the Club Penguin Times :) As you all might know, Club Penguin released a pin for 150th issue before, now maybe Club Penguin will release a pin for the 250th! :) There's a buzz around the island about something brand new for penguins. The Club Penguin Times caught up with an extreme penguin who is excited to earn stamps.

"Yeah, Stamps! It'll be awesome for everyone to show the cool stuff we can do. We need a place to record our rad skills, and that's what Stamps are! Starting July 27, everyone gets a Stamp Book. We can start collecting them and then show them off to friends."

He went on to say that there are stamps for doing things with buddies, for activities and for game skills too. "There are even stamps for doing cool things like filling up your igloo! I can't wait!"

1. Your Stamp Book

Open your player card, (and another penguin player cards) and you'll see...(Button shown below) Click it to see the Stamp Book.

2. How It Works

Inside the book, there are spots where stamps go. Move your mouse over each spot for instructions. Members can customize their books!

3. Collect Stamps

Earn stamps by doing activities, taking part in events, and playing games. Your friends and puffles can help you earn some too.

4. Show Your Skill

As you collect them, your book will fill up. When other players click... on YOUR player card, they can see all you've done. It all starts July 27!

About the SIXTH Field-Op Assignment :)

This weeks Field-Op has definitely been interesting to us ALL because it is a NEW one :) BUT there is something that I discovered that may be true, but I am not exactly sure...I really need to hear what you guys think about this...

Have you guys ever notice that when you are playing your arrows SOMETIMES work smoothly. And your arrows go where ever you want them to, to match the correct picture...Well it turns out there is a reason why your arrows don't ALWAYS work smoothly... ...Do your arrows get stuck, game freezes and it's too late to move your picture to the correct one? Well I tested this...

...When you are in the Recycling Center, the machine in there is what causes our problem! (I could be wrong, but I tested this and noticed a difference) When penguins throw recycled stuff in the machine and when the machine process the stuff to turn into something useful, the game shakes...do you hear a sound and notice a little shake in your game, when that happens in RUINS your entire game...

What to do: You have to either tell everyone to NOT throw recycled things in the machine until EVERYONE is done with the Field-Op OR go to an EMPTY server and make sure there are no penguins throwing ANYTHING!

I hope this helps to ALL who had trouble with this weeks Field-Op :) I COULD be wrong BUT if you test this out for yourself, then MAYBE you will get something like I did :)

There's been TONS of talk about Stamps! As you probably know, your Stamp Books will arrive on July 26 and you'll be able to start earning stamps and showing them off, too.

I wanted to know more, so I asked a Stamps expert:

Q: How will I find my Stamp Book?
A: Just click on your player card. When you do, inside the book there are places for a whole bunch of stamps - and descriptions of how you can earn them.

Q: How do I earn Stamps?
A: Lots of different ways! There are easy stamps and extreme stamps, stamps you have to earn with buddies, and ones that you'll earn by showing off your skills in games. For example, to earn this stamp, you'll have to jackhammer at the 'berg with 30 penguins. Q: Can I still get pins?
A: Yep, you sure can! Pins aren't going to change. And the best part is you can show off your ENTIRE pin collection inside your Stamp Book.

I would love to see a Stamp for making lots of candy pizzas. What would YOUR ultimate Stamp be?

Design your igloo: We know how creative you are with your igloos and we wanted to give you more. If you liked the T-shirt builder in Penguin Style, you're going to love the new Better Igloos catalog.

Spy Phone Updates: EPF Agents will face greater challenges to keep the island safe in August. You'll receive new Field-Op orders with more Spy Phone games to test your skills. Plus you'll be able to obtain brand new elite gear with your medals!

Earn Stamps: Stamps will be available for everyone, and we wanted to give members access to exclusive stamps and features. As a result, some of the harder levels in games will be made member only. The games that will be changing are Jet Pack Adventure, Catchin' Waves, Thin Ice, Astro Barrier and Aqua Grabber. Don't worry, everyone will still be able to play the first few levels.

Members play a big role in making Club Penguin better all the time and we wanted a way to say thanks. We're excited to hear what you think!

Thanks Corncand! I couldn't have said it better myself. Starting July 26, you'll be able to earn and collect stamps!

Some of you commented that you think stamps are in games like Aqua Grabber. There's a lot more to stamps than just playing games... You'll have to work together to earn many of them!!

You'll get your own Stamp Book to put them in, and you can show off your collection to everyone.

Club Penguin has released its 248th Issue today! :) Looks like a lot of NEW things are happening this month...take a look...

Music Jam is still going strong! And with a Music Catalog update set for July 15, the island might even get noisier!

Penguins everywhere have been expressing themselves with the power of music and style. The three new instruments being added definitely look like they'll be turning up that power even more.

"We've finally perfected double-necked guitar technology" said one jammer. "It's seriously epic. Like double-epic."

Everyone's encouraged to keep the sound strong. So dance up a storm and rock out on all the stages across the island.

"I've been trying to hit every stage in under five minutes." said one musician. "Still haven't done it yet. It's going to take a music-master to get it done!"

Music Jam wraps up on July 18. Make it count!

Starting July 15, this month's Better Igloos will feature furniture items that can help you make your igloo into a place to make massively maximum muisc.

Decorating experts were eager to share all they know.

"There are plenty of rock solid ways to get your igloos set up for jamming!"

"I like to get a theme happening--match the mood."

"For example, I got friends who love to dance, so I have lots of dance areas. But I like to have LOTS of different styles ready. If my friends want to practice loud, I can pull out a bunch of speakers!"

Today I met Cadence on Winterland, Dance Club :) The room was pretty full and obviously from this picture you can't see her lol! So I went to the Users in Room list and there her name was :)

If you guys ever find Cadence, and the room is full, but you can't see her, just go to the Users in Room, it helps a lot :) Just a little advice :) So this is when I checked the Users in Room list for Cadence... You have found a Cadence Background. Would you like to pick it up? YES please :)
This is how the Background looks on my Player Card :) I am so glad that I met her, I was looking EVERYWHERE for her! Then I finally found her, I hope you guys who haven't found her yet, find her :)

Cadence, also known as "DJ K-Dance", is a popular purple-haired musician, DJ and dancer. Always down for a dance off, you'll usually find her at the Night Club mixing music for the Dance Contest game.

She made a big splash when she threw the Dance-a-thon Party for members in January of 2009, and showed up to 'chill' in person.

Can I meet Cadence?
Cadence spends most of her time putting on Dance Contests at the Night Club, but during certain events she'll step down from the DJ booth to meet and mingle with others. If she's around, you definitely can't miss her!

With G Billy on drums or flute, Petey K on piano or accordian, Stompin' Bob on bass and Franky on guitar, the members of Penguin Band make quite a team.

Whenever they play on the island, they attract crowds of fans and inspire many a penguin to pick up an instrument and start their own bands.

Can I meet Penguin Band?
Penguin Band is currently working on its latest album, but hope to tour in the near future.

Hmmm, I would choose Best party ever! :D This year's has been so much FUN because of the NEW Casa Fiesta Room! :) Music Jam every year has definitely been improving...
